I am very excited about the upcoming school year! I would like to ask that you read Southside's student handbook with your son/daughter.

Please check the Southside calendar link located at the bottom of the page for current events and important dates.

Please encourage your students to come to class prepared with book, notebook, pencil, and any assignments due. Help them understand that they need to pay attention during class and not disrupt the class. Please remind them to ask for make up work when they have missed a class.

You will receive 4 Progress Reports. Please contact me if you think that there is a problem with your child's progress. In addition you will receive 4 grade reports. Please contact me if you did not receive a grade report soon after the mailing date listed below.

Interim Progress Reports (mailed)
1st Quarter: September 20th
2nd Quarter: November 29th
3rd Quarter: February 19th
4th Quarter: May 1st

Report Cards (mailed)
1st Quarter: October 30th
2nd Quarter / 2nd Semester: January 22nd
3rd Quarter: February 3
4th Quarter / Final Grade: June 5th
