A Celebration of Cultures
Dear Parents:

As Dr. Ken Peake has said, "Children are the messengers that we will send into a time that we will never know." It is our job to give them the very best training and tools that we can. They ARE the future. They are our most precious resources. Failure is NOT an option.

I commit to you that I will do my utmost this year and every year to ensure that each and every child succeeds. By working together, we will meet this goal.

Please read your child's syllabus online or the hard copy I have sent home. I have also sent home a slip for you to sign stating that you have read the course syllabus and asking you for your most convenient contact information. Please e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns.

Visit my web page periodically to see what is going on. I will post this summer's AP and IB results as soon as all of them are in. Look for more successes this year, beginning with the Clemson Declamation on October 28th.

The upcoming events page will keep you informed of important French and TOK activities scheduled for this school year. Please note that our annual international festival, A Celebration of Cultures, will be held on Thursday, November 16th this year. This is the evening when we ask all families to prepare a dish representative of their culture and come celebrate our cultural diversity. Please wear traditional dress of your culture and come see projects, skits, and fashion from around the world.

It was nice to see so many of you at the new building celebration on Sat. Aug. 19th.

Our Back to School Open House is on September 25th. I hope to see you there!
