League Academy Magnet Program
Program Overview
League Academy offers a rigorous academic curriculum that uses the arts and technology as powerful tools to connect and enrich all areas of learning. Additionally, League's comprehensive fine arts program provides the opportunity for students to explore many art forms and to learn at least one art form well through beginning, intermediate, and advanced courses in drama, dance, band, strings, choral music, general music, and the visual arts. Students can also select special communication arts electives including computer technology, video production, creative writing, debate/public speaking, foreign language and journalism.
Our New facility
We are extremely excited about our new building with state-of-the-art studios for our communication arts electives. Some of the special features of the arts wing include:
A theatre with proscenium stage that will seat 350
A Dance studio
A Drama studio
A Visual Arts studio
An Orchestra room
A Choral Music room
A design studio for Computer Graphics classes
An editing room and recording studio for Video Production classes
Two computer labs

League is located in the Stone Lake neighborhood, approximately two miles from the Wade Hampton Boulevard/North Pleasantburg Drive intersection. For directions, please contact the school office at (864)355-8100.
