     Congratulations to May’s Staff Member of the Month, Ms. Colleen Salling.   Colleen is a paraprofessional in Jean Ashmore’s class, and she has worked at Washington Center for seven years.  She is definitely one of the most creative people we have on campus, and   Colleen is totally devoted to her students and to making their time at school as special as it can possibly be. 

     Colleen has lived in the Greenville area for more than twenty years, and in addition to working with students here at school, she says she enjoys reading, knitting and working in her garden.  She also said that because of our fabulous students, she is able to live out the well-known quotation:  “Do what you love and love what you do.”  We love having Colleen as well, and think she is a great choice for Staff Member of the Month.
