In an effort to meet the needs of a very diverse student population Greenville County Schools, under the leadership of superintendent Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher and others, has led the way by establishing and supporting programs such as the Twilight School Program that provide distinctive and flexible opportunities for learning. The Twilight School Program offers students unique options in helping them reach their full potential by earning credits toward a high school diploma and in connecting them in nontraditional but very effective ways to learning and to social responsibility.
Twilight School Opportunities
- Students may enroll one or both sessions per semester.
- Classes begin each year in August and January
Eligibility and Enrollment
- An online application must be submitted by the guidance counselor.
- Students are required to be enrolled in classes at their home-based school or a career center for at least half of a day
- Student must be at least 16 years old
- Student must have acceptable discipline record
- Students whose primary language is not English must be a minimum of Level 3 on the English Language Development Assessment (ELDA).
