Dear Parent/Guardian and Students:

Welcome to the Teen Parent Program!  We, as a staff, are committed to helping each student succeed academically and in being a parent.

Greenville County Schools recognizes the importance of students acquiring their high school diploma. A mother's educational level and vocabulary profoundly impacts the potential educational success of infants. Realizing this impact, GCS, through the Teen Parent Program, provides a safe, nurturing environment for educating pregnant teenage girls.

Girls who attend Teen Parent receive their regular academic courses, access to parenting programs and parenting skills. We strive to create continuity with your daughter's home school in scheduling her into courses.  Our goal is to ensure that the girls who attend Teen Parent are able to move in a positive direction upon completing our program.
