Home Based Students (NON-MAGNET)

Students who reside in a Magnet Academy attendance area are automatically enrolled in that school.

To register a student: Parent registers the child at the school office. Required are the child's:

Long Birth Certificate (with parents' names)
South Carolina Immunization Record (issued by the County Health Department). Newcomers to the area may use an immunization form from another state for no more than thirty days.
Enrollment Form (This is for home-based students ONLY. Out of attendance area students must apply as magnet students, using that process) Enrollment Form Spanish Version

Applications From Outside the Attendance Area (MAGNET)

Please read all of the information below.

All students residing in the geographic area served by the Greenville County School District may apply for admission to a Magnet Academy. Selection is based on student interest in the specified school program, previous academic achievement, attendance, and discipline record.

Application forms can be printed from here. Round 1 ends December 1 at noon.

Stone Academy's Magnet Program Coordinator will be giving group tours during the month of November

Tours will be Mondays & Fridays at 9:30 am and Fridays at 1:00 pm

Parents of Rising 5K, 1^st & 2^nd grade applicants:

You will need to come into Stone on one of the following days listed below to have your child interviewed / assessed in order for us to complete their magnet application. There is NO need for you to call to schedule with us, just show up on one of the days during the time listed. Please have your application complete on/before you come for this interview/assessment.

Here are your choices:

Mondays = November 7, 14, 21, 28 between the hours of 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Wednesdays = November 9, 16, 30 between the hours of 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Thursdays = November 10, 17 and Dec. 1 between the hours of 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

*Thursday, Dec. 1^st = all first round magnet applications are DUE by NOON (any applications turned in after the NOON deadline will be put into the 2^nd round)

Fridays = November 11 & 18 between the hours of 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
