Southside High School is much more than just a bunch of buildings. It's a community. Here's what it looks like from the outside.

Yes, the buildings are a little worn but that's about to change. We're going to get a brand new school. However, it's really the people that make Southside special.

SOME OF OUR OUTSTANDING PARTNERS

Southside has many unique partners that help make our school special. For example, we recently received a grant of $100,000 per year for a 5 year period from the General Electric Company.

We have partnerships with the middle schools that feed us as well as the colleges we feed.

Thanks to Michelin who is the primary sponsor for the Upstart robotics team, our students are able to participate in FIRST robotics competitions. During the 1997-98 school year, Michelin contributed $25,000 toward our foreign language laboratory.

Cryovac, J H M Hotels, Jacobs Engineering, and several anonymous sponsors have all contributed generously toward programs like Forensics. Without their help these programs could not be as top notch as they are.
