Southside students are noted for their artistic,
musical, and writing
abilities as well as their outstanding history projects.
ATHLETICS
Southside has been the home for numerous
outstanding athletes.
FOREIGN
LANGUAGE At
Southside, students regularly win awards in German, French, and
Spanish.
Southside's web site was named as the best of
Greenville County Schools and as a gold medal winner in the district

Team—a
nationally ranked powerhouse which each year gains numerous individual
and team awards.
MATH
AND SCIENCE A number
of Southside students have made it all the way to the Intel
International Science Fair. Southside's math team is one of the top
teams in the state

RECOGNITION While
these awards may not fit the typical categories they are part of what
makes Southside special.
TIGER
SPIRIT There are
many honors and awards give at Southside which represent the essence
of what the Tiger Spirit is about.
Southside was a 2005 winner of
the Palmeto Gold Award.
