9 – Fall Induction meeting: 2:48/3:45, K-118

17 – NHS applications due: 2:48

24 – NHS induction rehearsal: 3:45, auditorium (Friday)

27 – NHS induction ceremony: 6:30, auditorium (Monday)

            *Inductees: arrive by 6:00pm

OCTOBER

5 – NHS general meeting: 2:48/3:45, auditorium

14 – Meals-On-Wheels

15 – Meals-On-Wheels

 

NOVEMBER

11 – NHS general meeting: 2:48/3:45, auditorium

JANUARY

14 – 1st Semester Independent Service documentation due by 3:00

APRIL

29 – All NHS documentation for the year due by 3:00

 

Requirements for Maintaining NHS Membership:

  1. Maintain a minimum 4.0 GPA
  2. No discipline problems, particularly regarding cheating and disrespect
  3. Attend all meetings (if you must miss a meeting—see Mrs. Hodge and give her information in writing prior to the meeting date)
  4. Deliver Meals on Wheels at least once per semester
  5. Participate in any extra chapter service projects (ie. Project Hope, Safe Harbor)
  6. Complete a minimum of 4 Independent Service Hours per semester

In order to maintain membership ALL members are to complete ALL requirements!  Also, if any NHS members are placed on “Restricted Status” by the RHS administration, they will be put on probation with NHS membership being revoked if the Restricted Status designation is not lifted or is repeated during the school year.
