Dear Plain Elementary Families,
Welcome back to another year at Plain Elementary School!
The 2012/2013 PTA Board is excited to work closely with the school administration, staff and parents to create a successful learning environment for all of our students. We encourage all families to be part of this by joining the PTA, volunteering in the school wherever you are able and encouraging and helping your child to do their best in the classroom.
Being a PTA member allows you to help your child’s school in a way that adds tremendous value. You will demonstrate to your child the importance you place on their education. While not everyone can commit their time to volunteering, you can still be supportive by joining the PTA. As your PTA President, it is my goal to keep all of our Plain Families involved, informed and educated in our children’s school and activities. Please look for PTA updates each month in the Bamboo Shoot. We hope you will use this resource to stay informed on PTA initiatives and ways you can help.
The PTA is always looking for volunteers. It truly takes everyone’s help, enthusiasm and ideas to keep our school great. Please take a moment to ask your child’s teacher if there is anything you can do to help in or out of the classroom. Any time you are able to give to your teacher or at school events is greatly appreciated. Plain would not be half the school it is without the countless hours so many parents have given to make our school so wonderful. Involved parents, working in partnership with the PTA, staff, and administrators, are key to creating a successful learning environment for each of our children.
