Plain Elementary hosted its first
Hands On
Plain Elementary
Day (HOPE) on November 13th. This event was sponsored by the School
Improvement Council and consisted of sprucing up the outside of the
building by weeding, pruning, raking leaving, spreading mulch and
planting flowers. We would like to thank the following staff members,
parents, and students for assisting with HOPE Day: Mark Palmquist
(Project chair), Laura Snow, Roxanne Slacom, Sean Knight, Bill Miller,
Craig and Natalie Boatman, Kaleigh Turner, Michelle Yates (SIC Chair),
Campbell Yates, Brcyllen, Brandon, and Broyele Smith, Dave and Debbie
Mihalic, Melanie Wyman, Kelly and Davis Hellams, Molley, John, Riley,
and Maggie Dunlap. A special thanks to Tom Boucounis for donating four
flats of flowers to the school. HOPE Days was a great success due to
the dedication of our volunteers! |
