Parent Testing Information

Stay up to date on the latest standardized state and district testing with the Paris Parent Testing Information document.  This list provides more information about which students take specific tests and why.  

The Paris website, teacher websites, newsletters, and Paris social media provide reminders and specific details as the testing window approaches.

SCReady Testing dates for 3rd-5th grade students are listed below. 

Writing - Friday, April 30

Reading 1 - Tuesday, May 4

Reading 2 - Wednesday, May 5

Math  - Wednesday, May 12

Science - Tuesday, May 18 (4th grade only)

Students should:

• Not have doctors’ appointments or early dismissals.
• Be at school before 7:30 to eat breakfast.
• Be at school before 7:45 if they eat breakfast at home.
• Be at school if they are not sick.
• Be well-rested.

2nd Grade CogAT and Iowa Testing Dates for Fall 2025

Tuesday, October 6 - CogAT Picture Analogies, Sentence Completion, Picture Classification, Number Analogies, Number Puzzles

Wednesday, October 7 - CogAT Number Series, Figure Matrices, Paper Folding, Figure Classification

Iowa 

Thursday, October 8 - Iowa Reading

Friday, October 9 - Iowa Math

• Students who eat breakfast should arrive at school before 7:30.
• All other students should arrive before 7:45. 
• Parent Letters will be sent home in late September with more information.
