To Parents of the Heritage Walkers

In August I sent home with your child a reminder that our being able to use the Heritage parking lot was a courtesy extended to us by the administration there. In that memo I laid out some guidelines that Northwest parents would have to follow in order for us to continue to have the privilege of using their property. It has been brought to my attention that some of our parents are not following the guidelines. I have been asked to remind you one more time of the following:

• We are not allowed in their car line or parking areas before 3:00PM
• If you have a child at Heritage you may pick up your child and park in a designated space.
• Do not block other cars that may need to leave their property.

I have been informed that some of our adult drivers are not behaving themselves in an adult manner. The administration at Heritage has informed me of arguments among parents, ill treatment of their staff, disregarding their directions, and blocking their traffic. Beginning today, any adult who cannot follow the directions and guidelines prescribed for using the Heritage property will be reported to me by the Heritage administration and their child will no longer be allowed to leave and cross over to Heritage. I regret that this action is necessary, however, you must remember that Heritage can revoke our privilege to use their property altogether and this would inconvenience everyone.
