Pulverize the PACT

The entire student body met in the gym for a gigantic pep rally to kick off PACT testing week (May 8-11 & 15-17).   On hand were representatives from Furman University's football team, Jerome Felton and Austin Holmes. Each player took turns to encourage the students to do their best on the up-coming PACT tests and every day.

Northwest Middle Cheerleaders were on hand to raise spirits.
Spirits get higher and higher.
The "Leader of the PACT" arrives.
The Leader of the PACT and the PACTettes.
The PACTettes are a big hit.
Ms. Earl helps determine the grade level with the most spirit.

The "impartial" judge determined that the Seventh Grade has the most spirit.

Leader of the PACT

We met just four years ago

Each year we are supposed to grow.

Do you get the picture?

(Yes we see)

We want to be the Leader of the PACT

Our PACT scores were heading on their way down

(down, down)

And he came from the wrong side of town

(What do you mean he comes from the wrong side of town)  - Campabello!  J

But he told me it’s not so bad

Work hard and you won’t be sad

That’s why I listen to the Leader of the PACT

One day the state said you need to improve

Our leader said now what can we do?

We stood there and gave him a smile

We pledged to go that extra mile

We’re gonna make it, Leader of the PACT

Well, he sort of smiled and gave me high five

And said good luck on the PACT

And as he drove away and revved up his big hog

We said we’ll make you proud

Our cheers will echo near and far very loud.

(Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go)

Oh, we’re not helpless, here’s what we’ll do

Remember all the work we’ve been through

At school we’ll all do our share

We’ll work hard because we care

That’s why we’ll follow the Leader of the PACT
