Girls' Basketball

Girls basketball tryouts will be Monday November 3 and Wednesday November 5 from 3:15-5:00. Students must have a completed physical form turned in to Coach Johnson to participate.

NJHS Food Drive

NJHS will sponsor a food drive for Harvest Hope October 27-31. Grade levels will complete for a dress down day and the top class in each grade level will receive a donut party.

Students should turn in canned or boxed food items to their first period teacher.

Keeping Our Kids Safe Online

Mr. Rick Floyd of the GCSD IT department, formerly with the Computer Crimes Division of the Police Department, will speak to Northwood parents, Monday October 27 in the Media Center at 6:00pm.

ACE Award Nominations

ACE AWARD(Advocates for Character and Education) nominations are open. Anyone who would like to nominate one of Northwood’s 8th grade boys or girls, please submit a form at www.c4aceawards.com. Nominations open on October 20th, and must be submitted to Ms. Moore in the Counseling Department by December 17th, 2014.

Northwood Students Collect Tabs for Ronald Mcdonald House

cantabMs. Killinger's class and Ms. Maher's classes are collecting and counting can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Greenville which helps sick children and their families. Their goal is to become part of the Million Tab Club. If the school collects 25,000 tabs students will receive a schoolwide dress down day. .....more information
