Media Center Information

PASSES: Media center passes are required during class periods, including all lunches. Passes are not needed before or after school. Passes for a student's lunch period must be obtained prior to lunch from a teacher or the media center staff.

Substitute teachers are not permitted to write passes or bring classes to the media center.

No food or drink (other than water) is allowed in the media center.

CIRCULATION POLICY: IDs are required to check out materials. Books can be checked out for two weeks; fines are $.10 per day. Reference books and videos can be checked out overnight; fines are $.25 per day. Students may check out laptop computers, digital cameras and digital video cameras to be used for class projects with a note from the teacher and a signed permission form from a parent.

Students will receive overdue book and fine reminders weekly via email. Overdue book and fine notices will be printed out and distributed during 4th period the last week of each grading period.
