Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year of bright beginnings full of rigor, relevance, and relationships.  We hope that you find everything here on our website, if not please feel free to call our guidance department with questions, 355-6404.  Our guidance’s motto for the year is “Expect Great Things” and we in the guidance department are eager to work with you and your child. 

 

At Lakeview students are assigned to counselors by the alphabet.

                                        To enroll your child at Lakeview Middle you will need:

  •   A completed Student Enrollment Form

  •   A completed District Student Emergency Form

  •   Social Security Card (optional)

  •   Official Copy of Birth Certificate

  •   Custody or guardianship papers (if applicable)

  •   Proof of residence (phone bill-landline only, electric or gas bill with home address, lease agreement)

  •   SC Immunization Record

  •   Current or last report card (if out of district)

  •    Special Education Documents (if applicable IEP,504, etc)

  •

SC High School Graduation Requirements:

The Student must earn a total of 24 units or credit in state approved courses.  The unit requirements are distributed as follows:

College Prep students have to meet the SC high school diploma requirements with one unit in a foreign language.

4 year colleges require a minimum of 2 years of the same foreign language.

Students in a Tech Prep program must earned one unit in career technology education.

Students must perform computer literacy prior to graduation.

Students must complete and pass the exit examination.
