The students visited Stepp's Apple Orchard in Hendersonville, NC in October. The students have been studying about the seasons of apples and the operations of an apple orchard in their classrooms. Their field trip included several exciting activities such as a wagon ride tour of the orchard, picking their own apples, working their way through a corn maze and a soybean maze, and drinking homemade apple cider.
