Allison Turza, JL Mann Science Department Chair is pleased to announce that a Palmetto Pride Tree Grant from the state that I partnered with TreesGreenville to receive was awarded to us! JL Mann will be receiving 40 trees through this grant! The trees we are getting are red maple, sugar maple, and river birch and they will be placed primarily on the south side of the building and in the front of the school. The trees were planted, November 1, 2008
