South Carolina Junior Book Award Program
We wanted to thank Toby Bacot and Salsarita's Fresh Cantina at Greenridge for donating our delicious nacho bar luncheon. And we especially want to thank Jill Rothstein and our wonderful PTSA volunteers who donated their time and brought us prizes, drinks and tasty desserts based on two of the novels. |

School Book Winner
Hughes Academy students voted "Skeleton Creek", the eerie mystery by Patrick Carman, as their school winner for 2011-12. The Junior Book Award Winner at the State level will be announced shortly.
The Hunger Games swept the state awards as the Junior Book Winner and also the Young Adult Book Winner!
