What is the Freshman Pride Program? |
The FPP is an organization created this year to help Freshman
learn the value of service both to Hillcrest High and to the
community the school serves. Freshman Pride members will be
involved in many service opportunities such grounds beautification,
nursing home visits, spirit posters for the Freshman class, a 5K
run for a charity and many other opportunities that will enhance the
relationship of these students to their own school and their
community. Students who attend earn points for each activity in
which they participate. These points will be tallied and the top 40
point earners will be rewarded with a trip to Carowinds. It is our
hope that through this program our Freshmen will see others doing
good things for our school and community and will want to join in to
make both a better place! |
