Freshmen will be placed as available in single-gender courses for English and math. Since the State Department of Education began the single-gender initiative three years ago, the data collected have shown extremely high success rates for students participating in single-gender classes. For more information, visit the State Department website at www.ed.sc.gov and place "single-gender classes" in the search site box.
