2011-2012

 

Mrs. Auman's and Mr. D's preschool classes have seen a big GREEN monster at school.  Here are the pictures of what he looks like.

The students in 4K created pictures of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer using their bodies.  Click here to see their creations.

Mrs. Fowler's class wrote about what they would do if they had $100.  Check out what our big spenders would do with that fortune.

Mrs. Crain's class has been writing poetry.  Click here to see some of their poems. Miss Styles' class is learning about frogs and writing poems about them.

Third Grade

Mrs. Childs’ class has written poems inspired by the painting "The Color of Money" by John James.  Check out their great work.

Mrs. Moore's class just finished studying about friendly letters! Look at what they wrote!
Ms. Carter’s third grade students have been enjoying exploring during the measurement unit in math. Students were excited about creating GallonBots, which helped with estimating and measuring customary units of capacity. Each student had the opportunity to create a GallonBot with their own personal designs to make each one unique and memorable. Mrs. Ganske's class is learning about the classification of animals. The students created flip books to help them remember animal characteristics.
   

Fourth Grade

Mrs. Kingsbury’s Class studied the Battle of Bunker Hill. Students analyzed the advantages that both the Patriots and British armies had based on their positions on Bunker Hill. Then, they wrote a paragraph explaining which side they would fight with based on the advantages! Please read the student essays to see their opinion on the battle!

Mrs. Dakhlallah’s class wrote about the PTA 2011 Reflections prompt: "Diversity Is...." . We hope you enjoy their ideas about diversity!

Fifth Grade

Mrs. Edmonds' and Mrs. Luthor's class has been working on a project learning about the ocean floor.  Check out their great work. Mrs. Lee's class has been learning about the ocean.  They would like to share their work with you.
