Welding is a high-demand career garnishing good salaries for skilled employees. Students learn all shop safety, cutting torch skills and 4 different welding processes during the two year program.
Students may obtain an OSHA 10 hour certification card. Early College Credit through Greenville Technical College may be offered in this program. In addition students may obtain the AWS (American Welding Society) certification at Greenville Technical College.
The welding industry is constantly looking for quality employees. Students have many employment opportunities upon completion of the program which has many ties to local industries looking for skilled employees.
