Law Enforcement Services 1 Course #:  651006 CD Grade Level:  10-12 Class Meets:  AM/PM 1st Semester Prerequisite: None Syllabus

The 1^st semester of this course will serve as an introduction to criminal justice.  Students will learn the foundations to law enforcement which will include constitutional law, specific criminal law, arrest requirements, and the court structure.  Several other topics will be covered at an introductory level.

The 2^nd semester of this course will based upon the skills & knowledge required to work in Law Enforcement.  These skills will include report writing, traffic stops, D.U.I. detection, radio procedures & other like subjects.
