Automotive Technology 1A

Class Meets:  1st semester AM or PM

Prerequisite:  Interview with student & parent/guardian

Syllabus

Students learn the fundamentals of the automobile by working on the laboratory engines and mock-ups. Under the supervision of the instructor, students will study the basics of safety, use of hand and power tools, basic engine fundamentals and vehicle service.

Students continue to learn the fundamentals of the automobile by working on laboratory engines and mock-ups. Under the supervision of the instructor, students will study the basics in safety, automotive electrical systems, engine performance and scan tools.
