This course introduces students to various types of
advertising, advertising media, promotion techniques and the development
of an advertising plan. Students who complete the Advertising course
will broaden their content knowledge of marketing and advertising to
include learning about buying behaviors, creating various forms of
advertising media, using technology to create advertisements, performing
market research, developing persuasive communication skills, developing
promotional plans and budgets, and learning about careers in the
marketing / advertising industry. Course work is enhanced through
projects, field trips and other instructional activities. |
