Mrs. Dixon's second graders participated with
Sue Goetcheus, from the South Carolina Children's Theatre. Ms.
Goetcheus worked with the class for an hour each day. Her lessons
culminated in a performance, by the students, on South Carolina
history. Ms. Goetcheus taught the students about drama, listening
skills, voice instruction and creativity, pantomiming, self-control,
self-esteem, and a sense of accomplishment. Thank you, Ms. Goetcheus
and second graders, for a magnificent performance!
