On Thursday, April 6th, Miss James and the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Chorus
took a field trip to the
Westside Living Center.

Mrs. Randall's and Mrs.
Harrington's 1st grade class had lunch and some
playtime at this wonderful park.

The 5th graders at Greenview Elementary played
Brazilian
Samba rhythms in a parade for the student body.

Mrs. Heatherly read Dr. Seuss' book,
My Many Colored Days. The students chose a color and drew how that color made them feel.

On March 2, 2006, Greenview students and teachers celebrated Dr. Suess'
102 birthday and
Read Across America.

The first grade students at Greenview have the opportunity
to enjoy an
igloo reading center.

On February 14, 2006 the
students at Greenview Elemenatry participated in and event called
Jump Rope for Heart.

Mrs. Anderson's 4K class had a
number day on the
100th day of school.
-
Every morning, the students in Mrs. Snow's 5K class take out their
class journals and
write a sentence.

Mrs. Heatherly's computer lab students dream of
becoming the president.

The 4th and 5th graders in Ms. Bunn's Media Center completed these
Animal Research Projects.

The first graders at Greenview Elementary celebrated the
100th Day of
School by creating Family Projects.

The first graders at Greenview Elementary used their writing skills to
make these winter
writing projects.

The K5 students at Greenview Elementary made
snowmen glyphs and displayed them in the hall.

Miss James' 4th grade music students
accompany a folktale from Zaire, Africa by playing the drums.

Mr. Mopps' 2nd Grade art students learn the skill of
printmaking in art class.

The 5K students celebrated Thanksgiving by inviting their families to
school for Thanksgiving dinner.

Ms. Anderson's 4K students made
Turkey Projects
with their families.

Mrs. Evan's 3rd grade class and Mrs. Verdin's 4th grade class
Books Make A Home project.

On September 14, 2005, the students, staff, and invited guests gathered
around the school's flag pole to sing the our
National Anthem.
