Junior Book Award Ice Cream Sundae Voting Celebration
On February 27, students will have the opportunity to cast their vote for the SC Junior Book Award winner while enjoying ice cream sundaes! The SC Association of School Librarians nominates books each year for the prestigious Junior Book Award. The purpose of the award is to "encourage our students to read good quality contemporary literature."
The winner of this award is determined by votes cast by students across South Carolina. This year, many students have met the reading requirement of three nominees to participate in the voting celebration. In order to get an invitation to the celebration, students must finish reading at least three nominees and register to vote in the library by February 25!
