SAT/ACT Courses are available this summer at Clemson and McAlister Square, Greenville. The courses provide eighteen hours of instruction, four practice tests, and other helpful tips. See the flyer for more information. The first session starts June 11th, with others throughout the summer.

Junior Opportunity
2012 Capstone Business Leadership Academy at the University of Alabama

The Capstone Business Academy is a 10-day residential summer program designed for academically exceptional rising high school seniors interested in obtaining an education and pursuing a career in business. Participants interact on an individual basis with University professors and working professionals through a variety of presentations and experiences. Rising Juniors and Seniors Opportunity

SITE at University of Alabama
Student Introduction To Engineering (SITE) is a summer program for rising high school juniors and seniors who are interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, hosted by The University of Alabama College of Engineering.  SITE consists of five nights of fun and exploration! You won’t roast marshmallows at this camp. As a SITE student, you’ll live in a UA residence hall, engage in teaming exercises, and tour an industrial plant to see engineers at work. You’ll challenge your mind with mathematics, engineering, computer science and English courses. And you’ll team with other ambitious students in a design competition sure to test your skills.  Summer vacation doesn’t have to be a “sit-at-home-cation”. Washington Youth Trip - Juniors enter to win an all-expense trip to Washington D.C. An expense paid six-day fun and educational trip to Washington D.C. for high school juniors from across the United States.  Participants will get the opportunity to meet their legislators in the House and Senate, tour historic sites and meet other students their age from far and near.  Some of the sites that will be visited are The U.S. Capitol, The Smithsonian, Arlington National Cemetery, The Jefferson Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, The Washington Monument, Mount Vernon, The Pentagon, The National Aquarium, The Holocaust Museum, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and a riverboat cruise down the Potomac.   Students will also enjoy some of the best restaurants and entertainment D.C. has to offer!  This trip is geared toward kids and is designed to be fun and entertaining as well as educational!

    Free Access to ACT, PSAT, SAT, and AP Exam Reviews

    The Office of eLearning in the Division of School of Effectiveness is pleased to offer free access to ACT, PSAT, SAT, and AP Exam Reviews for any South Carolina student who wishes to prepare for one or more of these exams during the 2011-12 school year. This includes public school, charter school, private school and home school students. Please review this service and consider how it might be best used to support students in your district.
