Our Facility

• Greer High School is located on 107 acres of land on Gap Creek Rd. The building contains 275,000 square feet of floor space which is equivalent to 6.3 acres of floor space. This amount of space is also the equivalent of 91 houses each containing 3000 square feet.
  

• The school will accommodate 2000 students. The commons area
  doubles as a cafeteria. The auditorium will seat 600.

• Classrooms are housed on both the first and second floors. On the second floor a science
  research lab is surrounded by science;classrooms. A food and nutrition lab as well as a
  clothing lab are located on the first floor. The building also contains 5 computer labs.

• The Media Center is located on the first floor with 35 computers available for student use.
  All computers in the school are networked and have internet access.

• There are three business labs, two multipurpose labs used by teachers with their classes,
  virtual enterprise lab, and one lab that is used for Project Lead the Way and computer programming.
  There are also two laptop carts with 35 each for classroom use.

• The athletic facility includes a gym that will seat 2000 as well as an auxiliary gym for instruction. The site includes a lighted baseball field, two softball fields, one soccer field, one football field, six tennis courts, a nine lane track and high jump area. Also available are restrooms, ticket booths and storage facilities.
