Our Assistant Principal

Vicki Tweed

Although this is my first year at Rudolph Gordon Elementary, it is my 36^th year with Greenville County Schools.  I left Plain Elementary in 2002 to become the assistant principal at Beck Academy. Now after 9 years, I am returning to my roots and once again working with Mrs. Parker.  I actually taught three of Gordon’s teachers at Plain Elementary!

I received my Bachelors of Science from Mars Hill College and my Masters in Administration and Supervision from Furman University. I am an avid reader of professional literature and every once in a while find time for a good novel.

I live off Scuffletown Road, just a few minutes from the school.  I have two sons and four “grands” that keep me busy.  I look forward to working with the staff, students and parents to help create an educational environment that is successful for all.
