Welcome to Rudolph Gordon Elementary!

On August 19, 2008, Rudolph G. Gordon Elementary School welcomed students for the first time.  The school, located at 1507 Scuffletown Road in Simpsonville, South Carolina was built to facilitate the progressive student population growth in the Southeast area of Greenville County.  Parents, students, and community leaders from surrounding neighborhoods and schools joined together with the school faculty and staff to create a learning environment where family values are respected, diversity is celebrated, teamwork is modeled, and academic success for every student is expected.  The new school is one of  50 elementary schools in the Greenville County School District and one of eight elementary schools located in Simpsonville, South Carolina.  Greenville County Schools is the largest school system in South Carolina and the 51^st largest system in the nation.  Rudolph G. Gordon Elementary School is located just outside the Simpsonville city limits.  Simpsonville is located between Mauldin, South Carolina and Fountain Inn, along Highway 14 and Interstate 385.
