The $4,000 Fit’s Cool School Challenge offers two ways for our school to win money. The elementary and middle school with the most registrants in the Carolina First Reedy River Run (Reedy Great Youth Mile, 5K, and 10K) will each win $1,000. Based on official student enrollment, the elementary and middle school with the highest percentage of registrants will each win $1,000, as well.  The Children's Fun Run is not part of the Fit’s Cool School Challenge.Staff, students, family and friends are invited to register with Sterling.  If you are interested in running, fill out the individual registration form attached, and deliver it to Kelli Leachman (P.E. Teacher), NO LATER THAN MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15.   I cannot accept forms later than the 15th. 

The cost to register with Sterling is $12.00, which includes the 10K, 5K, and the Youth Mile racing events.  If you register on-line, the cost will be $25.00 for the 10K and 5K.  Please make checks payable to Sterling School.  Miss Leachman will pick up packets on Thursday, March 4.  You can pick them up from Sterling on Friday, March 5 in the front office, or I can send them home with your child.  If you would like to pick up your own packet, please let Miss Leachman know prior to March 4.  Again, PLEASE have your form and money in by February 15.  If you have any questions, please contact Miss Leachman by e-mail or phone.  See ya on race day!
