Name the New High School in Southern Greenville County

School Scheduled to Open in August 2017

The Board of Trustees of Greenville County Schools is accepting suggestions to name the new high school that is scheduled to open in southern Greenville County in August 2017.  The high school, which will be located on Quillen Avenue, Fountain Inn, will relieve overcrowding at Hillcrest, Mauldin and Woodmont High Schools.

Click here (link expired) to submit your suggestion through an online entry form.  Suggestions may also be mailed to Greenville County Schools, Attention: Name the New South County High School, 301 E. Camperdown Way, P. O. Box 2848, Greenville, SC 29602-2848.  Deadline for suggestions is February 21, 2012, 4:00 p.m.  If the name is being suggested by a student, include the student's name, grade, and current school. Please submit suggestions only once. A community meeting will be held at Fountain Inn Elementary School on Monday, February 27, 2012, 6:00 p.m., to provide opportunities for discussion and input regarding the name of the new high school.
