Bus Requests -- Teachers & Staff

Field Trips

Teachers and Coaches

Requests for field trips must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the date of the trip. The cost for field trips is $15.67 per hour per driver and $1.26 per mile for buses through October 31 after which time the cost per mile may be subject to change. Activity buses are scheduled on a first-come first- served basis with athletic trips taking precedence. All requests must be submitted to the staff member at your location who is responsible for entering them in our permit system.

Staff who enter Bus Requests

Just some reminders when entering field trip requests:

  • You can enter a request for your location only. If another district location is paying for a field trip, you must enter that department’s location code in the comment section. If this is not noted in the comment section, your location will be billed. We can only bill to a school district location code, not a budget account or an outside agency.
  • If you would like to request an activity bus or a particular driver, please indicate this on the comment section.
  • The TRIP CODE field is to be used only for Community Based Instruction (CBI) or Roper Mountain (RMS) trips.
Principals

Please have a backup employee trained to use the Field Trip Request System. If you need training for a new employee or need a new user account set-up, please email John McCuen or call 355-8877.
