Recruiting interviews are taking place at colleges and at District recruiting initiatives. Applicants complete an online employment application and contact either individual schools or Human Resources for a District interview. Contracts will be considered in critical shortage areas such as Mathematics, Science, English, Special Education, Media Specialists, and Foreign Languages.
April
Recruiting interviews are taking place at colleges. As teaching positions become available, they will be posted on the District vacancies. Teachers on leave or with unassigned contracts are assigned before new applicants are hired. Applicants complete an online employment application and contact either individual schools or Human Resources for a District interview. Contracts will be considered in critical shortage areas such as Mathematics, Science, English, Special Education, Media Specialists, and Foreign Languages.
May and June

Applicants distribute resumes to schools of interest and apply for certification with the State Department of Education. (Apply as early as possible.) Human Resources Call Center is contacting applicants for availability to teach. Contracts will be considered in critical shortage areas such as Mathematics, Science, Special Education, Foreign Languages, Media Specialists, and English. Contracts are issued to newly hired teachers. Upon graduation, forward official transcripts showing degree earned to CERRA.

(Apply as early as possible.) Additional vacancies may be available based on student enrollment after the 8th school day. If applicants have not obtained employment, they may consider completing a substitute application.
