The System Support division of ETS is responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of all districts owned personal computers, peripherals, LAN and WAN, and telephone systems.
Some additional responsibilities of Systems support are:
- PC and Server specifications.
- Network Design, specifications and installations.
- Repair of PCs and Peripherals.
- Support and maintenance of the district's 100-location wide area network.
- LAN support for all locations.
- File server and operating system support.
- Provide Email services and support.
- Develop the district's technology standards.
- Manage network access for students, faculty, and staff
- Manage 7000 IP Telephone System
From July 1st, 2006 to July 1st 2007, the ETS hardware support group responded to 7704 service calls and the Network support group responded to 6860 network service calls in that same period.
The Systems Support hardware support group currently has 13 hardware and nine network support positions to service all 105 District locations spread out across Greenville County's 800 square miles.
The average network support person for the District has an average of 11 years experience while the average hardware support person has an average of 7 years of experience.

The Systems Support group is typically involved in all phases of technology from determining the correct hardware and software specifications that are appropriate for each individual locations needs, installation of the equipment, and its continued support.
