Mrs. Lynda Leventis-Wells serves as Director/Educator for the Carolinas Institute for Community Policing. She earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from the University of South Carolina, and a master’s degree in guidance and educational psychology from the University of Mississippi.
Honors and activities include service as president of CrimeStoppers, treasurer and governing board of Greenville Family Partnership, and commissioner for the State Athletic Board. Mrs. Leventis-Wells received the Sheriff’s Citizen Award in 2005 and was named the CrimeStoppers Citizen of the Year last year.
She is married to Alan Wells. They have two children, Katrina, a graduate of Coastal Carolina University, and Jonathan, a student at the University of South Carolina.
