Mrs. Leola Clement Robinson-Simpson was elected to the Board in 1996 to represent Area 25. She is the Manager of the Institutional Support Program (ISP) which serves students in need of tutoring and other support services at the Brashier and Greer Campuses of Greenville Technical College. Ms. Robinson-Simpson was educated in the public schools of Greenville County. She attended the former Oscar Street School, Sullivan Street Elementary School, and she is a graduate of the former Sterling High School in Greenville. She has a bachelor's degree from York College of the City University of New York (CUNY), a master's degree in Secondary Education Administration from Furman University, and a graduate certificate in Public Policy and Youth Program Planning from the Heller Graduate School at Brandeis University.
She is the mother of five children and eleven grandchildren, six of whom attend public schools in Greenville County.
