Guidelines For Salute To Education Staff & School Recognitions
Salute to Education –Thursday, May 19, 2011
The 40th annual Salute to Education Banquet, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Greenville, will be held Thursday, May 19, 6:30 p.m., at the Carolina First Center Ballroom. Principals, Teachers of the Year, other staff, PTA presidents, SIC chairpersons, business leaders, and other interested citizens are invited to attend. We hope your department will be well represented at the Salute Banquet. It’s time to order tickets and to nominate staff for recognition.
Current 2010-11 Teachers of the Year, school valedictorians, other honor students, and staff who are recognized will receive a complimentary ticket. Other attendees MUST purchase a non-refundable ticket. A school table may be reserved by purchasing 9 tickets since each Teacher of the Year receives a complimentary ticket. To reserve a full table, 10 tickets must be purchased at one time.
The deadline for ticket purchases is Tuesday, May 10. The deadline to submit Staff Recognition Nominations is Wednesday, April 27. Please share with employees as appropriate.
