Greenbrier Special Education

Greenbrier serves two self-contained moderately mentally disabled (MMD) special education classes.  Greenbrier also serves students in a preschool special education class.

The primary goal is to actively engage the students in learning activities that are age appropriate and lead to the greatest amount of independence.  Students in both classes are mainstreamed for related arts classes with typical peers in the school.

The special education and general education students at Greenbrier gain wonderful learning experiences during these mainstreaming opportunities.
