Greenbrier
Elementary School, a public school located in southern Greenville County, is
located on an 8-acre tract of land and was originally built in 1968. After
undergoing a two-year expansion and renovation in the late 1990s, the present
facility was dedicated on March 16, 2000. The 80,886 square foot building
accommodates 700 students. The addition of a new wing, designed to increase the
student capacity to 1000, was completed in the summer of 2007.
Greenbrier houses twenty-eight classes in Kindergarten through fifth grade.
There are also two self-contained special education classes, one primary
