The After School Program provides supervised childcare for the 180-day school year for children enrolled in Kindergarten through fifth grade at Fountain Inn Elementary.  The program operates from 2:30 – 6:00 pm each school day.  Students will have a structured daily schedule of homework, outdoor activities, creative playtime, and games.  Due to the number of students we serve, the responsibility for completed assignments must remain with the parents. 

     The program will run on the same days as the school calendar. Arrangements have been made with the local YMCA to offer service to our students for the days when school is not in session (holiday breaks, teacher workdays, etc.)

Our After School Staff looks forward to caring for your children and making them as comfortable as possible.  Our desire is that the After School Program will be of service to you while being a pleasant and educational experience for your child.

• A late fee, of $1.00 per minute, will be assessed after 6:00 PM.

3:30 - 4:00 Free Time

4:00 - 5:30 Activity Stations
        1) Gymnasium Activities
            2) Outside Playground Activities
            3) Computer Lab
            4) Arts and Crafts/Board Games

5:30—6:00 Clean Up/Dismissal

*Nutritious Snacks will be provided by the program on a daily basis.

** Students will have access to the computer lab for the use of the Accelerated Reader program, the Larson’s Math program, and the Lexia Reading program for additional tutorial assistance.

***Each group has a day of the week where they participate in soccer lessons. Skills along with free play are incorporated in the hour session.
