National Honors Society

Members are expected to uphold the four areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Members must maintain a 3.7 GPA Memeber are expected to complete a minimum of 4 service hours per quarter. (Hours CANNOT be shared with another organization.) Failing to uphold the four NHS areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character or meeting the expectations of members in NHS may result in probation or loss of memebership. Members may also be required to complete extra service hours for not participating in certain projects.

National Honor Socitey Induction for Seniors will be Tuesday, September 21st at 6:30 in the Auditorium.

 

Attendance at Meetings:

• Members are expected to attend ALL meetings. If you miss a meeting, you must see Mrs. Fish, room 127, or Ms. Bartow, room 130. Missed meetings require an extra hour of service.
• Members are expected to be on time. If the meeting has already started, it counts as absence.
• Members may be placed on probation for not attending meetings.
  

Dues:
Members owe $5 for their senior year. If you did not pay dues your junior year, you owe $10.

If you have any questions about service hours or the club itself, you can email Mrs. Fish or Ms. Bartow. There will also be a NHS bulletin board placed beside Ms. Bartow's classroom on the social studies hall. Check this bulletin for important announcements.
