This Thanksgiving season, we’re hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive to help families in need within our community. 📅 Dates: October 27– November 19 📍 Drop-off Locations: Media Center 🍎 Items Needed: There are bags with a list of items needed in rooms of participating teachers. Pick up your bag, fill it with the items on the list and return to school by November 19.

Congratulations to all students who placed at the Laird Lewis Invitational at Myers Park High School this past Saturday, October 25th:
Nathan Cloer & Owen Davis - 2nd place in Duo Interpretation Aaliyah Sanchez & Delayna Mello - 4th place in Duo Interpretation Baylor Pfaffl - 1st place in Novice Reading Nathan Cloer - 5th place in Extemporaneous Speaking Aaliyah Sanchez - 4th place in Original Oratory
As a team, Eastside won 3rd place in Speech Sweepstakes.
Finally, Dominic Giles was co-champion of Novice Lincoln-Douglas, earning 1st place & a NIETOC bid!
Girls Basketball Tryouts
Girls Basketball Tryouts will be held November 3rd and November 4th from 4pm-6:30pm in the Aux gym. You must have all documents including a physical dated after April 1, 2025 uploaded onto BigTeams in order to participate in tryouts.

Please complete the Google form indicating if you would like to take EITHER ACT or SAT this spring.If you do not intend to take either test at Eastside, please indicate that on the form as well.Every third year studentat EHS needs to complete the form indicating ONE choice.
**Be aware that your student debt WILL NOT APPEAR when you log in to MySchoolBucks--you will have to manually add fees you owe to the "cart"using the correctcategory under the "DEBT" section (Science fee, ID, lost book, etc.). The directions linked above in red will tell you how to check your debt amount ANDwhat categories to choose in My School Bucks for each type of debt. ALL DEBT must be paid to be eligible to purchase a parking permit, Homecoming Dance, or Prom ticket.

Parents and students, it is time to purchase senior ads the yearbook. Prices are as follows: 1/8 page is $85, 1/4 page is $150, a half page is $225, and a full page is $350. Prices will go up on December 1st. Payment plans are available for the purchase of senior ads in three easy installments.
