Preparing Our Students

    Donaldson Career Center (DCC) is a unique educational environment designed to provide educational fundamentals and experiences in a variety of occupational fields such as welding, nursing, cosmetology, auto technology, welding, nursing and multimedia.      

       The Center’s programs provide graduates with critical thinking and problem solving skills. Moreover, the use of  KeyTrain computerized training and WorkKeys certification insures every student leaving DCC is ready for the workplace.  In addition, essential work related clubs such as HOSA and Skills USA as well as hand-on projects –

·        construction: constructed solar hot water heaters

·        health science: blood drives and clinical experience

·        culinary: county cooking competition

·         cosmetology: spa days for the public

help students develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes that prepare  them to enter and compete in today’s job market and become productive citizens.
