GREENVILLE, SC -- Parker Middle Academy has been selected as one of 72 semi-finalists nationwide for the 2003 National School Change Awards, presented by the American Association of School Administrators, Fordham University, and Pearson Education.
To earn the recognition, the faculty and staff of each school presented documentation on where they had been, and a plan for moving forward. Using 16 specified criteria, they responded to the questions, "Have we brought about significant school change?" and "What do we need to do to sustain that change and move forward?"
All nominated schools will be recognized at the national Principals Leadership Institute in July. Six schools nationwide will be recognized as this year's National School Change Awards winners.
For more information, contact Parker Academy, at 241-3285.
